About Incidents

Overview

The Incident Reporting System on RIMOFTHEWORLD.net provides reports of active and recent emergency incidents around the mountain communities and nearby areas. These incidents are culled from the nearly constant scanner chatter, news reports, and CHP dispatcher logs by dedicated volunteers around the community.

These incidents are then routed to the RIMOFTHEWORLD.net Club Members via email and mobile phone text messages.

Volunteering for the Incident Team in fast and easy. Simply click on the Contact Us Here link at the top of the Incident Reporting System page to have instructions for enrolling emailed to you by the Alerts Team Manager, along with some general guidelines for entering incidents. Once enrolled, when you hear an incident on your personal scanner, or one of the Online Scanner Services, you can participate in this growing service designed to keep neighbors and visitors informed when emergencies occur.
